Children love yoga. I love taking yoga in schools and introducing yoga to children. Yoga in schools is fun and interactive and can be tailored to meet your objectives. I am increasingly finding that schools are keen to help children manage their emotions and how they deal with daily up and downs of life. Yoga is a great way of introducing calming teachniques, mindfulness style exercises and self regulation to our children.
Yoga in schools can be delivered as one off taster sessions or as a short course.
As well as being a Yoga teacher, I am a mum of 3 small children and was a fulltime teacher before motherhood. I use my skills and experience to plan sessions appropriate to the needs of individual groups and schools. I have taught Yoga to children in many different settings such as nurseries, pre-schools, schools, Colleges and for Brownie packs. I also hold a DBS enhanced disclosure and first aid certificate.
